NEW LINE OF PRODUCTION FOR HIGH-COMPLEXITY EQUIPMENT

MAYOR MARISA FASSI AND DEPUTY GUSTAVO ARRIETA PARTICIPATED IN THE HEIL TRAILER CAÑUELAS PLANT TO LAUNCH A NEW LINE OF HIGHLY COMPLEX EQUIPMENT FOR THE EXPLOITATION OF OIL AND GAS.

Responding to an invitation of the international company, on Thursday morning, the mayor Marisa Fassi and the national legislator Gustavo Arrieta went to the manufacturing plant of Heil Trailer Argentina, located at 66.3 km from Buenos Aires, on National Route No.3, to celebrate the launch of the first hydration trailer, built entirely in the local headquarters.

During a tour around the plant, the Halliburton Regional Procurement Manager, Aldo Angeleri, the general manager of Heil Trailer International Southern Cone, Gustavo Castells, and the director of the Oil & Gas division, Everaldo Santa Cruz, provided details of the "Oil and Gas" project before the governmental authorities, created with the intention of producing, locally, all the necessary equipment for hydraulic fracturing in the exploitation of non-conventional oilfields in Vaca Muerta. Heil believes that this sector is strategic for the development of the country and, since 2013, it is working on the development of national manufacturing equipment, replacing imports in the sector.

The event served to introduce the first hydration trailer entirely manufactured in Cañuelas. It is a piece of high complexity equipment used to prepare the water to be used in hydraulic fracturing, adding the necessary additives in measured amounts with great precision and preparing the gel that increases the viscosity of water, and then dosing it, generating the water with the density required to effectively transport the fracture sand in a flow rate of up to 16,000 liters per minute.
